Yeh hard to beleive I know! So I wonder what did it? Well I bet it was a combination really but I haven't ridden him since the last big "fight" about a month ago but he's been working in-hand, and on the lounge consistantly almost daily with 2 breaks since then of a couple of days. Anyway I switched bits and he was grrrreat. So was it the bit or the work or both ? Dont know but I'm happy!
Originaly I started him in a regular smooth mouth snaffle and when I decided it was too big I bought a double broke oval mouth eggbutt snaffle I figured everyone else liked it so well and it was milder why not? About that time that I switched he became a pill but it was also when we started working harder/ more, so who knows but lastnight I put him back into a regular snaffle only a full cheek this time to help a bit more w/ turning ect and vola awesome horsey? He got lots of hugs and scratches and treats! WHOOHOO
