Be careful there - you can't put together a 4 yr old and this little guy. You don't anything about him other than the owner's ad and if that is how he takes care of a horse, then I wouldn't trust him to be honest. Does the uncle have any horse knowledge? I thought you meant for yourself for now and someone else in a few years when the horse is healthier and has some training. Too bad he is so far away. Though Erica, Cita and their gang like roadtrips....

This guy trains horses so I know he would be very careful. I was just mainly thinking out loud of other options. I definetly have the place for him but I am not really sure about the time. But I really want him to have a chance.

Have you sent the uncle/horsetrainer guy a copy of the ad? If so, what does he think? If not - why don't you?

I would buy him and go get him tomorrow given the choice- but, that is an emotional opinion, not a critique. Wink He does look pathetic- but so did Aislyn when I got her. I've (hopefully) pasted a pic of her that was taken the day after I got her, on August 8th. The other one was taken fairly recently. It's not his belly that looks "out of place", it's the rest of the poor little guy! He is underweight, and I personally think he'll look fine if he's cared for properly. Aislyn looked like she had a big belly, too- reminded me of those pics of starving kids you
see. Frown Amazing what good nutrition will do! Grin

LOL..... thanks, I'm very pleased with how my girl is coming along. Grin I know he looks like sh*t right now, but some conformation faults aside, I think he will be a cutie when he puts some weight on. He's just a baby, and for that price, I'd be willing to get him out of there and give him a chance to see what he looks like as a real horse instead of a stick figure. If you've got the room and time, I would go for it. JMO, of course, since I've seen what a dramatic improvement can be made with some TLC. Smile
