I've been a horse-girl since I was about two years old. Although life has asked me to perform in such a way recently that I don't have as much time in the saddle, I still love it more than ever. It's what I turn to that keeps me sane. I have a wonderful registered paint gelding named Starfire Joe, or Jaybird/JJ/Birdbrain for short (depending on the day). I have raised him from a foal and he and I have now had 7 wonderful years together on trails, the beach, and the showring. He's my baby, my rock, my life. The boyfriend knows his place is #2. ;)
