This was the first summer that we worked at Camp Nathanael. We started with 6 ponies. I was worried about the ponies not having a barn, but Nate reminded me what t MI winters were like. It's perpetual spring to us. (When Lake Superior was froze over we were wearing t-shirts! That first summer working at camp was simple. We led the campers around because we didn't have an arena. With the older kids we worked on a lunge line.
