DLB Trissy Pine Bar, the beautiful grey mother of my Quarter Horse gelding. Unfortunately, I no longer own her because she was a little bit too much horse for me at the time. But she was about the smartest horse I'd ever worked with--I taught her three different difficult lessons under saddle on the same day, and the next day she performed them perfectly. She has passed those smarts on to her son--the ability to be taught a lesson in one day, and perhaps stink it up, but the next day come back and perform it as if she had been doing it all her life, or as if she had practiced it overnight.
