That's my plan, to contact the man who cut and baled it. I knew it was too green and I told the men involved but they wouldn't listen and now I have $1000 worth of almost useless hay. The hay is stored in an additon on my husbands auto shop. I warned him it could combust but he won't listen to me either. Stubborn men!

The biotin is for his hooves. Poor guy almost ground to a halt on growing new hoof tissue. My farrier (one of three Level 4 lameness experts in the the state) told me to triple his biotin and at her visit last weekend she found he had begun to grow some new tissue. Yea! I'm not familiar with the LMF super supplement, I'll have to check it out. About his saddle: I have a pad for high-withers horses but wonder if I need to get one of those orthopedic pads. R Royal Eclipse (otherwise known as Trigger) is 23 and has been enjoying trail riding for the last couple of years. I lost weight before getting on my first horse (30 years after my childhood horse). I would lead the horse around; all the walking did wonders for me and was a great opportunity for Smokey and I to bond. I hope this woman would use this time of weight loss to focus on non-riding horse work such as stable and pasture work, grooming, leadiung the horse on walks, etc.

My gosh, around 350 pounds? I can't imagine a horse carrying that much weight in a rider.

That is so tragic! How did the fire start?

I've got a pretty little Arabian mare who is just lovely but you can't get a good pic of her to save your life. Every single pic I've taken makes her look like a nag.
