Hi Amber - good to see you again, yes it *has* been a long time! What's happening down in your neck of the woods?

Hi there stranger! Good to see you again. Funny how Spirit didn't like going out for a walk. Most horses I have worked with hate arena work and love to get out on the trail - I guess I must bore them in the arena.

I would say, if you can stall him without blowing his mind, that might be the best thing to do until the vet can see him. Hopefully that way he won't make anything worse. And if he's stalled, maybe giving him some bute overnight to keep him comfortable wouldn't be so bad. Then you can turn him into the round pen in the a.m. and let him walk around and loosen up.

Oh man, that's sad - I feel so bad for him. These people that say horses and other animals don't have feelings are just plain wrong. They have feelings and emotions, every bit as strong as our own. I hope you can find a suitable solution for these guys.

Poor Jack - he was probably hoping he'd seen the last of Al. Imagine his disappointment! Hey if you weren't spending your money on the horses, you'd be wasting it on something else -- at least, that's what I tell myself. Hope the eye treatment goes well.

If you order off the internet, most sites have an information page which shows you how to measure and where to get the best fit. Having said that, breeches vary so much by brand, it's probably better to try them on to find a pair that really fits well.
