This is definitely a story about how big of a heart our horses can have. Some of you might have already heard this story (or someone posted it already). Sorry if I duplicated it, but it's so amazing I wanted those that haven't seen it to read it. You can read the short version here: http://www.equestmagazine.com/article03-4.htm And then after you are done reading that you can get the entire story at http://www.arabiansporthorse.com/scimitar/Scimitar.htm but warning: it's very long. BUT, if you scan

Wow, Jessi! Thanks! Interesting that you said NWHT was the highest quote, because as of right now they are the lowest quote I'm getting so far. But, I only have one horse, so that could be making the difference. Thanks so much for your help.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Oh, if only I could do my college all over again.

Well, Sammy (my cocker spaniel) has a bacterial infection, but that's all. No obstruction so that's good. Hopefully the meds will get him back to normal in no time. As far as what breed I want, I think I'm going to stick with Arabs or Half-Arabs. I started to look at other breeds, just to give myself more options, but every time I looked at one I was like they are missing something. And not to put down other breeds, I'm a big fan of Quarter Horses (all I rode when I was younger) and actually looked

I just received a quote from Nation-Wide Horse Transportation for $1,450. Is that good? Any one know this company's rep?

Quote: Where you been hiding?? Haven't seen you in a while! Just been busy. I had vein surgery a few weeks back, so was out of the saddle for while, still hurts to ride but I do it anyway, lol. I feel like I have a million things on my plate, really need to cut back. Right now I'm in search of my next horse, so that in itself is taking a lot of time with going to different places, test riding, research on-line. With that and family life with two children, doesn't leave much time for anything else

Oh thanks! I'll check them out.

Like your pics from the "rider's point of view" with your horse's head in the pic, very cool. These pics were taken in Queen Creek, AZ (Phoenix area), where I used to board Durango. This horse (Full Arab) is one I was going to lease, but the owner changed her mind. This is my friend's place, so when I do get that next horse this is where I will be. We go riding sometimes around the neighborhood, but havn't done that for a while. When I lived in Albuquerque, NM my friend and I would go riding up in

From one Arab lover to another, BEAUTIFUL!!!! What a handsome boy!

OMG, she is just too cute for words!!! Those pics with her reaching for the ground is just priceless, and the one of her laying down is so beautiful. And I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, those white socks! My last horse (in my sig) also had white socks, and yes they were hard to keep clean, but boy did he stand out in the arena. See this is why I would not make a good breeder, I would NEVER be able to part with any of my babies! You know, someone else on this forum had a baby last year named Rain. It's a
