Sorry my revious post was so short, I ran out of time and had to go back to work. Dali seems to be much better, he has been alright since his bad day. I didn't take him to the vets in the end as there didn't seem to be a point other than him having lost some weight, but then every one I speak to says it is part of them growing old. So i'm probably just being a big worrier. He has been through so much over the years, that I know he is a real survivor

Thanks, we are about half way there now, still loads to do though...

Thanks, as you can see from the picture it is by no means finished yet. LOL Hubby decided to try out the shower last night only to find that it leaked like a sieve. He put the sealant on as per the instructions but he was surpriced they didn't tell him to put the sealant on the brackets on the inside and low and behold theat is where it leaked. Next is the bath, then it will be back to tiling for me. I agree, if he goes and has another off day in the near future I will take him down to the vets but

Yep he seems to be back to normal now, silly boy giving me such a scare. I think the thing I worry about most is him suddenly taking a turn for the worst. I hope beyond all hope that he will be with me forever... I know that is not going to happen but i just don't want to have to say goodbye to him. Silly I know. Lucky you, I doubt whether we will see any snow this year... it's going to be colder for the next few days and then we are back to rain and windy weather.. yuk! I'm hoping I will be able

I've been much the same as you really, busy at work and my training classes seem to be doing really well now. I already have 3 places filled for my next puppy course and the first advert advertising it went in to the paper today... I think it might finally start to take off a little . So will your trip to Portugal include a stop off here in the UK? You know I would love to meet you and yours Sending Toby to Jamie sounds like a wonderful plan, it would most defenitely cheer Jamie up and will give

That ship the Napoli ran a ground not that far away. It's just off the Devon/ Dorset coast and our birds have been suffering as the oil spillage is getting them covered in oil. Yeah I don't know what the big fuss is about about people salvaging the contents of the containers, after all salvaging is legal. On the news they were making out that people where stealing but most were just salvaging - you recover some items, report that you have salvaged them and then when the rightful owner contacts you

LOL Ya I'm getting there, I missed you too You wouldn't think there is anything wrong with Dali at the moment he has been running around and playing tug with Shadow - Still worried about the weightloss though so I am going to see the vets this week with him. Sounds like you are right... maybe Moms can send us some of the white stuff we so desperately want? LOL as soon as hubby has finished putting the screens up around the shower cubicle I'll take some pictures. That will mean that one side of the

Dali is doing surprisingly well, it appears that it was just a 24 hour set back as he is bouncing off the walls at the moment. I'm still worried about his weightloss though. Mind you it's been dry and cold or dry and mild out so that has probably helped ease his arteritis. I'm going to try a new supplement I found the other day, It's called "Flexi Joints" and was developed to help doggies with sore joints - As Dali's problem is mainly in his spine I'm hoping this one will work better then the mixed

Hi Gals! Phew, I have just spend 2 days catching up on all the posts I missed. I hope both of you (McCue and Moms) are on the mend from the horrible lurgy... Mine lasted for nearly 3 weeks, although the last week of it wasn't too bad. Saying that I am still coughing so it still hasn't gone completely... I think I have my pooter almost back to normal now, moving everything across took a little longer then I anticipated. Of course being in the middle of another bathroom refit isn't helping either,
