While EPM is a possability and does happen its rarer then people think. More horses are put down with a mis-diagnosis of EPM then are horses who actually have it. PLEASE look into EPSM! It is a disorder relating to the ability to process carbs. The links below are great articles and I advise reading them. Now to my story. In the beginning of May 2006, we had our friesian shipped to the US from The Netherlands. He was great, though a little heavy in the bit due to how they train there. Within 2 weeks

I would stay away. Sounds like a scam to me. Might not want the credit card because you can stop payment on that. The saddle might exist, but who knows how many people they have sending money to them.

Here is a HUGE key to your issue! You say YOU have not changed anything for him, however, SOMEONE SOMEWHERE did. I had an issue last summer where the skin on my horses nose was litterly SLOTHING off. First thought was a snake or spider bite. The next day, 2 of the other 3 horses at the farm were showing similar, less sever symptoms. After much work with the vet, we called the feed company. Turns out Triple Crown added propaline glycol to the molasses. When asked why they didnt put it anywhere on

you could try cocosoya. It did wonders for my horse. it not cheap, but if you buy it in bulk, and with the fact that per volume, it costs about the same as corn oil per fat digested. www.cocosoya.com

I have a 28 yr old (going on 5) Arabian gelding named LaaBahsk. He was a national champion park saddle and driving stallion. He has a rough life as he was quite the handful. Got gelded at age 10 and continued to compete for many years. He has enough points to have his legion of excellence and still have many left over. He was then sent to my farm as they felt he was to old to have a use anymore and didnt have room for him anymore. He was not the easiest horse to ride, and soon became forgotten as

standards tend to be more lad back and "serious" then their smaller siblings, but they are still play and are full of personality! I would own a standard WAY before you sold me on a miniature! They are great! Also were used as royal guard dogs, so they are better at that, and way less yappy!

Having a difficult mother is never easy. I can understand. I would not get a lawyer involved. If your mother either paid for someone to care for your horse, or did the work herself, she should be given something for that. Also, if she paid for feed, she is owed that. As for the deposit, I think you should ask your dad, but never assume anything is a loan. If you had a kid, and you bought the kid a car. You paid for the car. Would you think it was fair for your kid to take the whole amount the car

No relationship is worth your horses health. I would call farrier #2. I had a farrier that "came with" my horse. I purchased my horse from the farm and kept him there. This farrier is the only farrier around who can do saddle seat horses, and he has been doing my horse for his while life (my horse is 28 now). I have heard from many that when my horse was still a stallion, he was quite difficult to deal with. He was gelded at 10 1/2. This farrier used to come and do a group of horses at
