I am renting an apt with my sister currently, but will move in with Seth shortly. Mostly it will be me for local shows, but I will probably haul 1 more horse and a friend so if something happens and Seth can't be there, I have someone else to help out. To me, it is worth the investment, I am not talking about a 50,000 dollar trailer, it will be used, but in good condition

Hmmm, maybe find a forum member that could trade saddles with you? Its an idea, but I would try a non-slip pad and a poly pad (thick ones ) and see if that helps until you can find another saddle.
