Quote: Henry is so beautiful...and funny. Love the shot of him from the rear, driving the horses from the rear. Look at him, Henry, King of the herd! Oh he wishes! Henry is the lowest of the low! He just does what the others tell him, bless him! For such a big horse he is bossed about by my friends 15.2!! In that shot, he's just trying to catch up with his mates!!

What an exciting day yesterday! We have a new girl at the yard and she has two horses. Bonnie and Basil are half brother and sister, both 16.2hh. Same dad, a TB. Bonnie is 9 and is half Shire; Basil is 6 and half Irish Draft. We decided to bite the bullet and turn all the horses out at the same time. No competition - Summer! And this from someone who LOVES coloured ponies!! Gizzmo is very short and upright behind, I don't like the way he moves and without the flashy markings he'd be an ordinary pony. Summer on the other hand, moves beautifully. With some decent riding (ie getting her off her forehand and working from behind rather than just bending her neck to make her look pretty!) she would be stunning in the dressage ring! She also looks pretty sweet and is putting up with a large rider falling
