  • Re: Do broken bones take allot of energy?

Lot's of water is the quickest way to heal a broken bone Being more tired/lack of energy is due to not being as active. When you sit about you get more tired than if you were pumping your blood because you are actually not getting as much oxegen. To help, you can do various excersizes using your arms, sit ups, anything to get your blood flowing. You'll feel more energized and sleep better.

  • Re: What's your favorite barn gizmo?

I had 15 muscovies, I know your sediment I now have one They are very messy and loved to fly all over the place. I let them all have the run of the place. They wander around the yard, play in the pond, whhich is outside the pasture, and learn to follow me up to the barn. They enjoy wandering about in the pasture finding all sorts of good feeding spots. I haven't had any fly away as of yet and have had multiple breeds. I prefer Kakis and malards and malard look alikes myself. The looka likes look

  • Re: Freezing to death!!!!!

I've been worried about my ducks too. I have a bunch of hay down in and around an igloo dog house. They seem to appreciate it and have been staying right there. This is the first year my pond has frozen completely as well, so no trecks back and forth, I have had to water them along with the rest of the critters.

  • Re: McCue Redkan Escambia Desert Conference

Pretty wise of your farrier to reschedule. I would want mine to do the same.. I have the same cold here, but no snow I may get a bit today, depends how far east it comes I have officially decided I need a second solar water trough.. I'm tired of carrying water up the hill three times a day to find it all frozen each trip. I'm going to look into finding the supplies to make my own, if I don't have much luck, then I'll just buy one. I like knowing my horses can drink when they want, not just when I
