Thanks for all the luck and good vibes everyone. However the lady never called me back so I'm thinking she won't as it's been over a week since I called I think. Oh well, maybe something better will come along.

Wow, thanks for all the super luck everyone!!! And yes, must be because it's working with horses - hehe! I've been wishing for a job like this to come about for a long time! I really hope this one works out!

Look for the Swiss Boots. They are the best on the market IMO. I stay away from shoes. I won't EVER shoe a horse. I know how to do the natural trim and I've seen it turn my horse around! Every farrier caused him to be lame after a trim and now he's great when I trim him! I don't use boots on him, but if we had rough terrain I'd get the Swiss Boots Good luck! Keep her barefoot!!!!

Well a friend's mum told me about someone looking for help at their horse farm! Not too far, a half hour or a bit more, part time. I think it's standardbreds. This is EXACTALLY what I've been waiting for! I can't just work any job because of my illness, so with a job like this I'm sure I could handle! Not exactally sure what they are looking for, but I called and left a message. Now just waiting for a call back! I've worked at a race track before and I do know quite a bit about standardbreds, even

Hes ADORABLE! I think getting a mini before a big horse is a good idea. However they can still be very strong as their weight is closer to the ground. I know people who have been dragged down the road by them! I have two and love them to bits! I'm addicted hehe! I keep thinking on and off of having a stud business, so instead of getting a huge stallion to start, I bought a mini stallion. It was like practice for me til I got a bigger one. Not sure if I'm still doing it or not, but I won't give up

I've had evil thoughts too. I kept crying out "I want to go with Grandpa." But now I realize that there is much to live for, it just takes time. I'm glad you got through your rough patches too =)

I do hold onto Simon. Then Nicky comes over and bites my butt haha. My cats are here for me too. Lila, a stray I rescued last year, is always around me when I'm home, purring away. At least my animals love me.

No, my family bought the farm. However he wanted to move in together in a year or so... oh well. Life!

Ya, hence why I wasn't around lol. I missed you too hehe. No idea for barn name... it's being put aside for now. Not a big issue at the moment. But I'm starting to like something to do with "Healing Tree..." something or other.
