It concerns me that you felt pain w/a hip release. With the TTOUCH/Alexander methods - NO PAIN EVER! Hip releases shouldn't involve pain. Again I'll jump up on the soap box for any certified TTOUCH / Alexander method person who you could find to help you with getting your body centered, balanced and working in harmony with your horse. NOTHING BETTER!

I FULLY AND TOTALLY AGREE WITH Percheronrider: It might even be good to consult with an expert in the Alexander technique to see what is going on with the way your leg hangs, or why it weakens. I have 2 crushed discs in my extreme lower back due to an old car accident - found a CERTIFIED TTOUCH and Centered Riding Instructor, she saved my riding life. I no longer take any inflammation medication or pain pills at all. If it wasn't for her and the amazing TTOUCH technics, I wouldn't be riding

I've made a few shirts for myself and a couple friends. They're not hard - just take your time. I use a plain Singer sewing machine and use lambs leather and swarovski crystals. Honestly - not much to them just majorily time consuming to create. By the time you buy your crystals, rim sets, leather and base fabric - easily popping out $150, but it's custom so should fit perfectly.

Don't waste your money. My mare had hers on for a total of 5 minutes. I tried everything - nothing would keep it on her. I had the halter/grazing muzzle all in one. I'm putting mine on eBay this next weekend - as soon as I can get my digital camera to take a decent picture of it. Of course, my mare can also undo knots tied in any lead line/rope. Maybe she's just talented - and fat!

Hey - I switched about 2.5 years ago and haven't looked back since. The biggest difference I found was I was a very "sloppy" western rider. It showed up when I jumped into that English saddle and went for my first ride. There's nothing there to "keep you" where you need to be. The best thing I have learned so far - the balance issue. You really need to have the balance to be in rhythm with your horse. Once you get that down - it's plain wonderful! The posting the trot wasn't an issue for me to learn

I've read this entire posting and all I can say is my gelding (16.3) hated the trailer. The first time I loaded him was in my friends trailer to bring him home (4 hr ride) Got him in with treats but he wouldn't come out - was a 3horse/slant. Basically we had to pull him out but after 6 hours - everyone was done with all the tricks and stuff from 40+ years of horse experience trying to load/unload a horse. We basically hand built a ramp and lunge rope on each side and pulled the poor guy out. My trailer

Words cannot describe how much I LOVE my County saddle! PLUS - fits both my gelding and mare...swear by them.

He is very handsome! A quick FYI - I bought a 16.3H appendix who "hasn't been loaded in +/- 4 yrs"!! but I bought him anyways - we had that instant eye-to-eye bonding moment when I went for my first test drive! LOL. It was a 45 minute loading lesson when I bought him with out much commotion about it. We got home & he wouldn't get off!! My trailer was in the shop and I had to use my friends 3/sl. My trailer is a stock/combo and 7' tall & 6.5wide. Her's is 6'tall and small/regular sized slants

says you're "midwest" - I'm in NE KS and know a very good TTOUCH certified person and also a massage therapist - again she's certified too. Between those 2 and a chiro - my guy is 100%! Cold weather doesn't help either - I find myself scrunching all up in my shoulders and back too. If you need additional info on the above - just ask...
