Okay, I'm at my wits end with Goober - We have been working on our jumping and it seems to being going along ok - He is comfortable at 2 feet but anything higher than 2'5 he gets goofy - So now to the headless part - We approach the jump with a nice canter, in the middle and he is actually paying attention to what he is doing (that doesn't happen very often LOL) - If you give him ample crest release then he will land with his head in between his legs, hence the headless part - He did

I know that everyone always says change is good and good things happen when there is a change, but why change something if it really wasn't broken to begin with - If I remember correctly the old ES let you review your message before you posted, why can't you do that now? With all due respect I love Goober's jog and I ride him english - He used to be a western pleasure horse and competed alot in western pleasure classes but I'm so not western and converted him to an english pleasure horse - I had a time getting him to stop loping but with the help of my trainer we slowly got loping out of his system - I could sit his jog all day and my trainer says that is actually a good thing to have - We do real well in english trail classes were you have to sit a trot
