Thanks guys! I'm sorry it is long, but I have a lot of info I have to pack in for one survey. :) If nothing happens when you press submit, chances are that it is not going through. The next option is you can type out the answers like so: Age Range: Location: Experience: Do you Own a Horse? Have you Bought A horse? Have you Sold A Horse? HORSE A Price Range: Like: Change: Would You Contact Owner? Would you Purchase? Explain: Then, just continue to horse B, C, D, etc, to letter L. You can email

I am working on the "Perception of Value in the Equine Market" as my senior research project this year, and I need people to take my survey. I am looking to find a larger range of perspectives, thus why I made it an online survey. www.singlefootfarms.com/marketsurvey.htm I apologize, it is a little bit lengthy, but unfortunately my project has to be extremely in-depth so I need to get as much information as I possibly can from my survey takers. There are three ways you can submit the survey

Thanks for all the advice, I do appreciate it. :) I don't own a tom thumb bit, thank goodness ;)Those are some pretty nasty bits, in my opinion. As far as bit seats go, it's just the very sharp edges at the top, like what you'd normally float off. It doesn't go down to the sensitive nerves and just helps keep the lips from getting pulled into the side of the mouth. I've had great changes when I put in bit seats vs. when the horse did not have them. Good News! I did take him home

I think your post may have just hit the nail on the head. I'm definitely moving him back to a snaffle, and if need be I have a hackamore I can ride him in. He has some issues backing, so that's something we will be playing with. Thanks! :)

That is the sad thing, he was probably started as a long yearling. It's just the school of thought around here. I wouldn't do anything like that, I wait to start mid-summer of their second year, and start them easy. He's been shown at the world show as a two year old, in trail pleasure which is a lower division. Then they found he started moving out more as they rode him, and thus he's classic, though I have been told he may make a park pleasure horse. Unless you buy them young and

My new 3 year old RMHA gelding likes to stick his whole tongue out the side of his mouth. I saw it when I test rode him, so I knew what I was getting when I bought him, but I was just wondering if there is something that might help him stop? He was ridden in a tom thumb (which I am switching from) with bit guards. I do not like tom thumbs and think maybe this had something to do with it. I haven't ridden him since my test ride (I just brought him home last night), so I don't know if this

So far it looks like he only does this while bridled, I have only ridden him the one time when I test rode him, and he just came home yesterday, so I haven't seen it there. As far as dentistry goes, I prefer to use my equine dentist because she does preventative work as well as just regular floating. She also puts bit seats in, rounding off the first molars so that when you pick up on the bit it doesn't put pressure on the cheek or tongue since those molars are smooth. My vet doesn't

I just recently became the owner of a 3 year old RMH gelding. He's super cute, steps level and has a sweet temperament. This makes 5 Rockies for me... I think it's a disease! ;) I can't wait to show him in the Park Pleasure division, which is the highest animation that a Rocky can have. He's 14.2 and needs some groceries, but there was just something when I test rode him that just stuck. He's coming home today, I am 45 minutes away so I'm dragging myself away from school to

Wow, Chey, he's gorgeous! I missed your acquisition of this guy - when did you get him? Did you decide against moving to KY?
