That reminds me of an accident at a friends place. They put a pregnant mare in a field with "her" stallion, a four year old supposed gelding, that was actually still a stud, ran through the fence to take the mare. The stallions fought and the older stud ended up needing stiches. They put the stallion in a barn to heal and mended the fence, with hot wire. Once again the four year old broke the fence, the older stallion looked out of his window and, angry another stud was with his mare, kicked the

yes he is a gelding. I figured it was impatience, he has been tied for about an hour at the longest. That was just once though. I'll try tying him in his stall to start with, so he is out of the way and not disturbing the other boarders. Then we will work towards the wash rack and aisle. Thanks for the help.

My horse paws really bad. Anytime I tie him up or crosstie him, he will start to paw so furiosly that he grunts, coughs, and looses his balance. I don't mind a little pawing once in a while but, this is crazy!!! It's a pain when I pick up his hoofs to clean them and he jerks them out of my hands to paw, when I'm putting meds on his hoofs, when I linement his legs, shave his legs, bandage him... don't forget the farrier! I usually tell him no, and jerk on his lead, or pop him on his shoulder, but

My horse (okay pony) was soooo good today. He is five years old and got his 30 days straight training when he turned 3. I didn't ride him after that because I really wanted to let his legs fuse, then I didn't have the time to train him. Now, I have moved him to a nice boarding barn with an arena, roundpen, and racetrack. When I ride him one of the guys laughs and teases me, "Did he buck you off, did he refuse to move". (I laugh as well, I have a lot of respect for this guy, he has a bunch of horses
