I have asthma as well. It's becoming more common in younger people around the country, especially in places of high smog concentration. Sometimes I don't realize my breath if getting shorter and shorter, until it's really way too late. I was recently on all three that your daughter is on... Don't feel bad, it's so hard to tell sometimes, once I didn't notice and had a week long episode, finnaly went to Urgent care. Stressful situations can bring them on too. It's annoying as heck!

Oh okay, well actually, just from Bio-text books. Medical classes with in-depth looks at animal breeding! Sorry if I seemed defensive!

I have to agree with you on that one, some people treat their horses like quads too!!! Act offended at the sign of natural horse behavior, heck I saw a girl throw rocks at her pony and whip him across the face just because she couldn't get him to lunge! Our farrier on the other hand was trimming an aged mare with perfect behavior! (What an odd thing to say to avid horse owners...)

Wow that sounds really annoying! We had a farrier tell us once to sell all our horses and get quads, we changed farriers! He obviously didn't care for horses, so why would we expect him to give ours the best care we could afford when others did it for cheaper! That is an outrageous price!!!

True, though you must admit we'd get a lot of good horses in the show world if they just had the chance. I suppose my opinion is slightly biased, I have 3 awesome horses that are unregisterable, for lack of pedigree. Breeders should be more responsible though, inbreeding still causes problems indefinately, like hemophilia in people problems like it show up. I suppose it's the former PMU farms I have a problem with, as well as the feed lots they send the horses to. When PMU was a bigger deal they

We had an awesome farrier, but then he had knee surgery... He was the best ever! This guy we were trying was awesome on our first appointment, but totally flaked on us the next 2. We had an appointment for 9, and he called at 1230 to say he'd be late. When he knew we had a vet appointment to have a horse on our ranch tranquelized to be easy to work with! Hopefully my boyfriend will go for the farrier school!

As I said, they have a lot of information on PMU in general. Also they are a national organization.

It was a suggestion rather than advertisement, for informational reasons! They have a lot on that site in particular, I've seen those too. Thanks though!

Yeah, I dunno what's up! My boyfriend is considering going to farrier school, just so he can do our horses feet! Just to be sure, I didn't offend you did I? Just making sure! My first post made a big boom! And not in a good way...
