Hey Cita- Thanks for the list of barns. I know many of them an dhave shown at quite a few....and they are all pretty nice from what I've seen. I'm in Montgomery County- Lansdale area but I dont mind traveling a bit. Right now Yogi is about 16 miles from me. For where I'm at right now, I like more of a laid back facility. My biggest concern is good care. I'll look into the ones you left for me. Thank you!!

I never thought this would happen to me again, but I have been kicked out of my current barn. I wont go into the whole story, but it all came to down to an issue between the barn owner and another boarder whom I became good friends with. The barn owner let things escalate and wouldnt admit she was wrong. Instead of solving the problem she kicked her out. As soon as my friend got kicked out, the barn owner systematically started kicking out everyone else associated with her. The whole atmosphere at

I had one of those Collegiate changeable gullet saddles. I put that on the narrowest tree and padded it up a bit for the time being. The saddler also moved some stuffing around to make the fit a little better. It fit ok but he still had bad sweat marks and his back wasnt 100%. I tried not to ride too hard and made sure to give him a nice linement bath after each ride. It was definitely a rough 8 weeks. I hated having to wait for a saddle I knew would fit him perfect while riding in one that was still

I found one picture of us from the photographer! This was the last class of the day and he was pretty tired. It was really hot and he wasnt too interested in working for this one. He refused to put his nose in! Yogi at Shannondell

No pictures My camera's batteries died, my mom forgot her camera, and the photographer didnt get one shot of me!! I will have my bf take some pictures of us hacking around at the farm sometime very soon when he isnt busy working. I have some before pictures and video from a couple of weeks ago to show the difference already. Next step is a chiro to get the kinks worked out and Yogi should be good to go!! 8 weeks was sooooo long to wait, but it was totally worth it. I would do it again in heart beat

Wow I just realized how long its been since Ive been on here! I hope everyone is doing well Just wanted to share that after a long 8 weeks, I finally got my County Innovation. The day I got it I ran out to the barn and rode in it. It was absolutely amazing! Yogi seemed so incredibly happy and comfortable. His gaits were nice and floaty, he moved out so well, we were balanced over all of our fences...it was like a totally difference horse and rider. Everyone was commenting on how great he looked.

Thanks for all your thoughts and suggestions. I went to the barn the next day to check on Yog and ride him. I was very pleased when I saw his grain bucket empty!! I took him out for a good ride and he was soooo happy to be working. His ears were perked up the entire time and I could tell he just wanted to please me. I think that he was just depressed I was gone. Poor guy! I feel bad for going away and leaving him. Next vacation I'll just have to take him

Well I just got back from a week in half vacation in St Lucia....had a blast and came back so relaxed- that is until I went to the barn yesterday. The BO is on vacation, but the people in to feed and take care of the horses told me that Yogi hadnt been eating his grain and really not touching his grain for the past 3 days. He hasnt dropped too much weight, but I can start to see his ribs again I wasnt sure why he would just stop eating like that. The girl thats using him for 4H was up a lot to give
