Hey guys. Its been a while since I've posted any pics of Faith and Redneck. I've got some from before w/ their winter coats, and some from today, & it just got finished raining, so Red has rolled and Faith's coat is a little wet in places.. Redneck: Wow my little free proudcut gelding rescue sure has grown in the last year (from 14-15.1hh) and still retained his nice muscled neck and good looks. We're working on the riding portion : ) He poses so well for the camera. BEFORE about

Ok, guys, I need some help. Red, my rescue from last year (15 hands, sorrel, 3-4 yrs, geourgeous) is giving me some problems. Lets start from the beginning. We found red after he had been rescued and in the two weeks before we got him, he had been gelded, but lets just say, we're realizing he's proud cut. There's nothing left from the operation, but he's retained the cresty neck and attitude of a stallion, and liking to mares. However, this problem also gives him stunning good looks

Ohhh....Frustrations, We're still doing better in the way that all of her vitals are normal, and plenty of gut sounds, and no pain whatsover, BUT, after the general 3 piles of poop we got on Tues, and the vet remarking that the impaction seemed pretty much gone, we were instructed to start feeding her, just little double handfuls at first watered down. SHe ate it up like there was no tomorrow. After three of those little feedings, still no bowel movements. Fed her again this morning, about 2

Ok, the vet came out again. From what I understand, the impaction is gone, and now she just has some dry manure to get out of her system. The vet said she's not a 100 % great, but doing much better. MUCH better!!!!Thanks for all of the prayers guys : )

Ok, just got relayed from home that the vet said Faith's doing "Wonderful" and that her stool is alot softer and not as hard. My vet doesn't use 'Wonderful" often which is awesome news. I still have to check on her when I get home this evening, but all in all, its looking up. Vet tubed her w/ mineral oil/water and another dose of Banamine.

Ok, got up at 5am and checked on her. Vitals were perfect. And, after I checked them and was just sitting around rubbing her, she lifts up her tail and gives me a nice little pile of manure, which I am estatic to see. I am at school now, but my cousin is home, and reports that another "pile" arrived not too long ago and that the vet is out there now, for the checkup, and I will be updated soon. I know I'm not out of the woods yet, but we're getting there. Thanks for all the prayers

Ok, its 12:30. Checked Heart Rate, Respiration, & gut sounds. Heart rate=normal, Breathing rate: low/normal, Gut sounds, Loud and audible on both sides top and bottom. She's not in any pain, she looks like she's falling asleep. Called the vet. Updated her. Since Faith seems to be allright, despite the abscence of a pile of manure, we're going to skip the 1am tubing of water and wait till morning when we can all see. She honestly seems great, just still waiting on the manure to pass
