Monster Hug Sprag! Would your horse and you be better off riding out with another horse and rider? I know my Incarna is still scared stiff when we go out by ourselves(and me as well.) Sorry about your mishap and hope you two get better soon...Damn cows. richard
Spragolina, it was definitely the wet ooozing up between his toes.
No Sillys, imagine coming round a bend and seeing enormous tractor hooked up to equally enomous manure spreader and the EMS is dangling in a ditch trying to pull ET in with it. I stop and at a good spot in the bend of the road and turn on my warning lights and approach my friend who is BEET RED and saying all sorts of things into his cell phone(we can all imagine.) One by one, enormous

hey Solaris, certainly hope it's nothing serious... And to everyone that was in chat this evening when I dropped out so suddenly; a friendof mine, that I helped this morning, who had a bit of an accident with his monster tractor and manure distributer on the road stopped by(with a bottle of whiskey,) to thank me... I am seeing a bit double right now... Need I say more...rr

What a sweet, gentle(attractive for 88years old,) little old lady! Yes, our grandmother renter arrived this evening with her daughter. We all had a quick soap and sandwich dinner together and she's off to her cottage. My only fear is that our Labrador might knock her over one of these days. She seems very small and frail. Her daughter does the advertising for the national stud up the road and raises "selle francais" jumping horses so we always have lots to talk about when she around
What a great picture, RC. Hey, rr - my gelding made a swipe at me on Monday, just after I scratched him between his front legs. Since that can be a "sensitive" area, maybe both guys took offense for some reason. Even so, that behaviour is not allowed and JD got a swift kick in the shin from the side of my boot. I have a little mark on my forearm and it's a little sore, but nothing like your injury. How's it feel today?
Yes, we(with my two
OK, rr, at first I thought you were making some sort of perverted offer with your new title for the thread and was not interested. Now that I know what you meant, take care of yourself.
Got me laughing(and my side really hurst this morning...) on that one DD! SeaHorse, we'll just have to lunge these guys INTO THE GROUND now before riding them. I am headed out for a limpy run this morning before friends come over. He is going to get lunged and rode

First, couldn't be happier for you RC(remember, this once stood for RAGING CHIC!) And this idea of buying another horse COULD VERY WELL CATCH ON WITH ME. This morning while feeding "his highness" Incarna( a bit later than usual I must admit, school holidays letting me sleep in), I gave him a scratch between his forelegs while he was eating and took a step, and the SOB turned round and bit me good! I mean I have a horse's mouth sized (think of a grapefruit,) black and blue and red

Big Hug SS...I don't think we've seen the bottom of this thing yet. Just about everyday I deal with not having a job(am very normal in this regard.) There even has been a bit of "activity" with my agent, but still nothing cofirmed. Today is a beautiful Autumn Day, very warm for the season and I will be mowing back the fields with our 50 year old tractor and getting some things done in the cottage. It appears our 88year old grandmother will be moving in next week and her daughter
