Gosh! It has been a long time since I posted on here. Sorry for those interested. I am still hanging in there. Tired and worn out, but still here. My sister is still hanging on. She has been on the transplant list for about a year, but still no news. Vic has managed to avoid any concussions this year. Thank God. With finishing her GED and concurrent college classes, she is very busy. She hasn't been riding as much as she was, but she seems to enjoy the rides that she does get more. Choctaw is

Well, I guess she got my message. When I came in from work last night, the horses were all in the round pen. I presume she fastened them up until she can find where he is getting out and fix the problem.

Yesterday, I was on my way to work and our neighbor's mini horse was on the road. I stopped and lured him out of the road, but he wouldn't follow me and I wasn't really dressed to handle a horse. So, I went up to their house and honked. She was still home thankfully. (She is a vet and was getting ready to leave for the office.) She said she'd take care of it. Well, this morning the little snot was out in the road again. Vic got out and got him out of the road while I went to their

I did think about that on the way to work. I called her office, but she wasn't in yet. I left a brief message with her answering service to let her know he was out again this morning, but that I put him back in. Hopefully, she will get and understand the message. I didn't see any unoccupied pens and frankly, felt awkward messing about on someone else's property. She has the big pasture, a round pen that is down in the big pasture, and the stallion's lot. So, I put him back where I

I don't know how the people pass an English class! There just isn't enough emphasis on language arts these days.

My mother swears baked coon is wonderful. I haven't ever had any, but... Seriously, racoons can be a horrible nuisance and they don't need much encouragement to move in. I had to alter my feeding schedule for my outdoor cats, because they were eating more than the cats. One of my cats whooped a coon that was trying to take her food during broad daylight. I had some den up under my front porch and raise a litter! I finally said enough is enough when I came home one night and eight of the furry

Just my two cents worth - I would consider his feed, too. Choctaw was on sweet feed when we got her, but after some investigation, we switched her to Nutrena Compete. She was much better. It took a while to see the results, but she is much more relaxed and less pushy. I have just recently switch her over to Nutrena Safe Choice. She is an easy keeper and personally, I just don't think they need a lot of sugar in their diet. Hope you find a good solution for your problem soon.

Congrats! Looks like you mastered the Blog after all. Love reading about Salem. Best wishes.

Blogger.com is kind of idiot proof, too. Mine even looks half way decent even though it isn't about horses. Good luck and would love to hear about your adventures with Salem. http://faithandhope-aries.blogspot.com
