Great Job! I remember I was so pleased with myself when I finally could trot my horses trot. He was a trotter so that boy can trot! I'm sure that on the horse your riding the trot is much nicer Have fun with it though and do get yourself something from that tack shop, you just made a big step in riding, woohoo!

Oh wow that really stinks! Knees are no fun to mess around with, I've gotten two knee surgeries and luckily they've ended up well but you need to be sure that your ortho is a good one. I hope that you recover nice and quick!

I totally understand. All three of my best friends in the entire world have boyfriends, as of now only one of thier relationships is very serious but who knows how long that will last. *sigh* I feel very left behind but I'm just waiting for the right guy to come into my life...whenever that will be but I guess I will just keep waiting, lol.

I've been thinking about getting a PMU foal, I've heard it's alot of hard work but toatlly worth it in the end. So as soon as I have a bit more time and another stall than that will be my next project. Before you jump in I'd make sure that you have time each day to devote to the foal, you want to make sure that you don't get the foal and not be able to properly care for it. But if you do than good for you and you're going to have a best friend in the end. =)

I've heard mostly good reviews about the Henri de Rivel, the only person who didn't like it said it was because she wasn't a fan of the thigh padding on it. Otherwise it's all been raves. I have one of the Dover Circuit saddles and I love it, it wasn't too expensive either. Synthetic saddles are not my favorite, but they are very easy to care for and relitively inexpensive. I really prefer leather though...I guess I'm old-school too!
