I'm sorry you're having this problem. I think it's a common fear amongst riders. Funny, when I was young and rode, I didn't have the fear and concern that I do now. Maybe I was just too young to realize the danger I was in. Sure sounds like a seperation anxiety to me. Have him vet checked for sure. I agree, see if they will turn him out with the mares and maybe that will have a calming effect.

My favorite horse won the Dubai Cup!!!! Left the rest in the dust (sand). Hopefully, now they'll bring him home and give him the retirement he deserves and has more than earned!
