    Hi, I agree that it is way too young to show under saddle--breed shows are in-hand only. It's actually a great experience for youngsters, it exposes them to a show atmosphere and asks only that they maintain good manners in the ring. He's a slow-growing baby and probably won't be backed until well into his third year. I'm like you -- prefer the classic look.
