I was so irked when they changed the name of the Distaff to the Ladies Classic! I mean really Ladies Classic makes me think of golf or tennis tournament.... Not the championship race for mares.

Oh thats just crappy if they block her from running on purpose! I saw her in person on Oaks day and it was the best horse race I have ever seen in my life.... she won by 20 1/2 lengths... She is the best 3yo in the world in my opinion. These guys are scared of a girl!! I also saw Mine that Bird with his win and was impressed but I don't see him going on to a Triple Crown. Heather, Just wanted to let you know you can get ApHC (Appaloosa Horse club) papers on Rascal thru their hardship rule if he has 3 of the 4 appaloosa characteristics. They are coat coloration, striped hoofs, sclera (white ring around eyeball), and mottled skin. It might help you sell him if he is registered. Even if you don’t do it and is eligible I might but that is eligible for ApHC registration in his ads. I can easily see 2 just from your pics (coat color and striped hoofs). I am attaching the

Hello all, I have a couple of horses that I would like to add free choice (loose) salt in their diet. I normally top dress their feed (oats) with Moormans gro strong minerals. I have a large portion of a bag left right now. I would like to set up some way to give them free access to it. This would be in a stall, they are currently out during the day and in the barn at night. Any ideas? Tonya

Oh, I didn't realize that... Even if it were to pass this time, I don't think it would help my friend out. Which is unfortunate because she has a really nice 2yo and is a pretty active shower. She would love to add APHA shows to her show docket. I do not own any Paints and I am not an APHA member, but I don't really understand why they passed that rule anyway. It makes a stonger argument IMO to allow solid paints breds full rights. Many of those have 2 paint parents yet are second class
