One of my geldings has been know to be a bit of a ladies man. Usually once the mare has been here a couple days he doesn't ever do anything again.He doesn't react this way to every mare either. Keep us updated,good luck.

We always introduce a new horse very slow. They are stalled next to each other,they're able to touch noses etc. for atleast a week before we put them together.If you have around you can put them in the lot with the your parents horse.It takes time and can be a pain in the rump but it's safer.We usually only put one horse out with the newby at a time also,so they don't gang up or try to protect their herd mate.

My sweet husband just bought me some Muck Boots from TSC yesterday.My horsie family members all have some and they're comfortable and keep your feet nice and warm.TSC also had flannel lined jeans someone said they are very warm,i'v never tried them.

The best horse I ever had was around 20 when I got her and died at age 30.She had such heart,never any health issues. Older horses do need their teeth checked more often,twice year I believe. Good luck,let us know if you get them
