• Re: Active, older horses

One of my daughter's has a 20 yr old app that people consantly argue and say is not even 12 yet! This special little app just went to a show with both my daughters riding her in the show. English jumping and on the flat and western pleasure walk/jog. Then they doubled for a short trail ride after the show before loading up and going home. We also have a late 20's almost 30 yr old gelding that loves to carry my youngest daughter around and keep up with his best frriend the app, so my lil daughter
I will let holcomb7 tell the story, but I will say that her girls kicked butt at their show and brought home good ribbons! Because she has the awesomest pony ever!
AAWWW thanks Solo :-). Po is the awesome-est pony ever!!!!!! I had more than 2 people want to know how much I would sell her for. ROFL .... that horse is SO not for sale. My oldest brought home 1st in her jump class (intermediate) and 2nd on the flat. In her jump class, she had 2 refusals, but

omg, rr!!!! What a fabulous story. I love it. I hope everyone is doing well? All trucks and cars repaired.... dryers too? Injured, lame horses doing better? Injured, lame, sore, bruised people healing nicely? Tomorrow is the barn's "fun" show. Both girls are really looking foward to it. We took the ever trusty Po over this evening. Both girls are going to ride her tomorrow. One English on the flat & jumping, the other in a western walk/jog class. Our injured hateful witch *said

  • Re: Joined the ranks

Vet out today to change the bandage on Dreamer. OMG ~ just to change the bandage.... a chain, twitch, and drugs. Since she was so bad just for that the vet is coming again in 7-10 days to change it again. We both agreed that with my eyesight and her (Dreamer's) nastiness, we didn't want to chance me doing it on my own. Her ground manners are just ... ummmm, a little less than desirable. She is really quite nice under saddle. Oh yeah Did I mention how much I hate going to the dentist?

  • Re: Got a job I guess

Congrats on the job Blue. Good luck with your search Frizzle. School started for the oldest dd. OMG...would you believe that she is to be on the bus at 5:55am and doesn't get off the bus until 3:55pm?! That's a long day for anyone...especially a 3rd grader for crying out loud. JG....you definitely need some new spotters. I think I could do better than that LOL. Sp.....thank you so much for the much needed ego boost. It is easier to ride a horse than to walk for me. I have retinitis pigmentosa

  • Re: Does my horse want me to have a coronary? Or, Vannah choked again.

It has been awhile.... Life has gotten in the way of my equisearch habit, but I do miss talking with you all. Po has finally been cleared by the vet to go back to work. The original injury healed very nicely. The vet came hoping to give the "all clear", and there had been an abcess under the bandage so she had another month off. The abcess thing happened while I was away. DD got to take her to summer camp. I ended up putting shoes back on Lea's front feet. My yearling is growing like
