Very cute, but it looks tremendously dangerous!

Have you guys heard about this?!?!?! I received this article in an email... TALLAHASSEE -- Florida Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Charles H. Bronson today announced the imposition of import restrictions on horses coming into Florida from Texas following the discovery of hundreds of Texas horses positive for Theileria equi, one of two organisms responsible for causing Equine Piroplasmosis (EP). Bronson is requiring horses from Texas to have blood tests to check for Theileria equi within

Oh My God! I cant even imagine... How horrible. I'd never be able to get another one. To lose a seemingly perfectly healthy horse out of nowhere like that. So sad .. So many are lost to colic..

Too cute! I sent it to everyone I know!

I have had multiple vets say even 18 was too old to breed. In this market I dont know why anyone is breeding anything. You'd be better off putting that poor mare to sleep now than making her suffer through a pregnancy blind at 25. The phrase "get another baby out of her" is all I need to hear to know this is not a valued pet the way my horses are.

I have had two- a jumping saddle and a dressage saddle. I LOVE them. I sold my dressage saddle because it didnt fit my new horse, but it fit a variety of other horses, and I kept the jump saddle because it is by far the most comfortable jump saddle I have ever sat in. They are amazing for the price, I'd strongly recommend them to anyone.

Ok, so I had my first day of polo on Saturday, and the weather couldn't have been nicer! About 75 and sunny with a nice breeze. I must say it is one of the most fun things I have ever done! I hope to keep going back at least a couple times a month. Here are a couple pictures they took of me on Sat: http://tallypolo.com/services.html Topper thinks I have lost my mind! He's a dressage horse mostly, so I found it very easy to maneuver him around with just my legs. He was hilarious, I was laughing

I am so sorry to hear about this! That happened a bit before I joined, so I always wondered about your sig... I know how tremendously painful it is to lose a horse. Our mare (and the love of my trainer's life) died over 5 years ago and it still kills her to even talk about her. I dont want to rehash any bad memories, but what on Earth happened? Was she only three when she died? She looks so healthy and happy in the pics, I'm sure she had a wonderful time with you.

The cowboy trainer we have in our area has us do something called "disengaging the hips" probably FH or someone will tell you more, but its kind of like getting them to do a turn on the forehand, where you get them stepping around with their hind end, or having them go in small circles. Maybe you can go back a few steps and work in small circles then try going forward, or getting off and lunging with a rope halter for a few minutes in the problem spot? Best of luck! I know it can be hard

JerryParks is great, I used them for a couple years, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again! The prices are reasonable and they are very courteous and helpful.
