  • Hooking up a gooseneck to a crew cab truck

    My wife was having trouble hooking up our gooseneck to our crew cab truck. She couldn't see the ball over the seat. You can buy devices that assist you on line for around $20. Me, I did not want to spend $20. So, I bought a plunger with a yellow handle for $6. The type with the extended plunger....

    Practical Horseman just did a story on this in the September issue (Health Update, p. 16). In a nutshell, the six substitutes outlined are bagged, chopped forage; hay cubes; hay pellets; "complete" feed; beet pulp; and soybean hulls.
