Yikes!!!!! I don't know if they were set that way for jumping from the other direction for a different course and the course managers "forgot", or were too lazy to fix them, but that's just wrong! Glad nobody was hurt... on THAT day. But someone needs a little lecture on jump safety...

We just purchased a Metro Vac n' Blo for use on our 4 pasture ornaments. We live in an area with VERY low humidity, and the vacuum builds up loads of static and shocks the horses. Does anyone have any safe, creative ways to redirect the static? The MetroVacWorld site didn't have any solutions...

I am so surprised anyone would say this- In the 60 - 70's the choice was steel bars, no roof on the back of a half ton. Squeezed up to three horses, 4 if your tail gate was dropped. DEATH TRAPS! There has been Millions of Millions of dollars put into the designs of Trailers, 70's had no options...

So all of our barn members (5 of us) went out on a trail ride at a new local trail system in our county. I have been feeding my two horses (a 26 YO TB and a 2 YO Paso Fino) 'free choice' hay. The TB is used to eating a little, then wandering off, and the baby came from a herd where he had to scramble for hay and so is eating all the time -- he consumed ALL the hay (I was throwing out about 20 pounds...
